  ​Join the Austin AI’s growing tech community at this upcoming Austin AI Networking event at Remedy on December 7th 6:30-9:30 pm.

  During this event, you’ll have the chance to network with fellow innovators, visionaries, and AI enthusiasts while exploring the artistic side of artificial intelligence through breathtaking works presented by local artists. Some of the local artists that will be participating include:

  1. Jeff Wilson: Jeff Wilson is a mixed digital media artist whose work explores the intersection of technology, emotion, and human experience.

  ​2. Kellyn Dassler: Kellyn Dassler is a contemporary artist known for her vibrant use of color and layered textures that evoke movement and energy.

  ​3. Chris Van Loan Sr.: Chris Van Loan Sr. is a multidisciplinary artist whose work blends traditional techniques with modern digital media, creating thought-provoking pieces that challenge perception and inspire dialogue.

  4. James Pricer: James Pricer is a visual artist whose work fuses data-science, technology and aesthetic abstraction. He describes his practice as a “synthesis of the antithetical” — melding representational sources (e.g., DNA data, particle physics data) with abstract form.

  5. Sy Goldstein: Sy Goldstein is an award-winning AI-generated street-photography artist who has crafted a vivid alternate 1980s New York City populated by surreal characters, humor-inflected backstories and a distinctive visual style. His practice draws on a background in film and photography, now re-imagined through AI.

  We will be hosting this event at Remedy Bar. Owned by the founder of the Austin AI Alliance, Remedy is a community hub and local bar that serves Austin’s growing AI and tech scene. Join us at Remedy as the bar will be providing a relaxed yet vibrant setting where innovators, creators, and enthusiasts can connect. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

  Mentorship Program Overview

  • Duration: 6 Months + Opening and Closing Happy Hours
  • Participants: 75 Mentees
  • Structure: Cohorts of 3 Mentees Each + 1 Dedicated Mentor per Cohort

  Program Description:

  This 6-month mentorship program is designed to foster professional growth, community, and knowledge-sharing among emerging and established professionals. Mentees will be placed into small, supportive cohorts of two-three individuals, each led by an experienced mentor who brings domain expertise, leadership insight, and a passion for guiding others. The cohort model encourages accountability, camaraderie, and meaningful connections within a manageable group size.

  Program Goals:

  • Build lasting relationships across professional levels and industries

  • Support mentees in setting and achieving career goals
    

  • Provide mentors with a structured way to give back and invest in the next generation
    

  • Foster a culture of growth, clarity, and community

  Key Components:

  Kick-off Happy Hour (September 15):

  • Where: Remedy: 360 Nueces St STE 30, Austin, TX 78701
  • When: Monday, September 15, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
  • What: A lively in-person or virtual happy hour to welcome participants, introduce mentors, build energy around the program, and give mentees a chance to meet their cohorts in a relaxed, social setting.

  Monthly Check-Ins (October - March):

  • Where: Remedy: 360 Nueces St STE 30, Austin, TX 78701
  • When: Second Monday evening each month, 5:30pm - 8:00pm or whenever your cohort determines is best. 
  • • (Oct 13, Nov 10, Dec 8, Jan 12, Feb 9, Mar 9)
  • Mentors should host at least one check-in session per month with their cohort. These may include group discussions, mini-workshops, office hours, or goal-setting sessions. The format is flexible, but consistency and engagement are key.

  Closing Happy Hour (April 13):

  • Where: Remedy: 360 Nueces St STE 30, Austin, TX 78701
  • When: Monday, April 13, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
  • What: The program culminates in a celebratory event to acknowledge growth, share takeaways, and strengthen professional networks. Participants may receive certificates of completion or share short reflections from the experience.
