  • Online

AGENDA

7:15 - 8:30 p.m. Discussion

EVENT SUMMARY

In "Co-Intelligence: Living and Working with AI," Wharton professor and author of the popular One Useful Thing Substack newsletter Ethan Mollick urges us to thoughtfully engage with AI as co-worker, co-teacher, and coach. This co-pilot concept differs significantly from the obvious temptation at hand, i.e., letting our favorite AI platform take over as the lead voice on any given project.

Hugh Forrest will lead a robust discussion of the basic concepts of "Co-Intelligence" as well as a more general conversation of how AI has changed our approaches to productivity and efficiency.

Some of the discussion points to be covered at this April 29 online only event will include:

  • What are your best hacks for implementing AI as a co-worker in your day-to-day routine?

  • Have there been instances where you have realized you have given too much power or authority to AI? What led you to this realization and how did you remedy this problem?

  • Are you enamored with one particular AI platform -- or do you favor the multi-platform approach?

  • "Co-Intelligence" was published in April 2024. How has the book aged over the last two years? Are Mollick's insights and advice on co-piloting still relevant as AI continues to evolve at a breakneck pace?

  • Looking to the future as opposed to looking at the past, how do you see AI changing and evolving as a workplace and at-home tool over the next few years?

This discussion will appeal to AI experienced and inexperienced users of all levels and abilities. Come with your positive (and negative) stories about life in our new LLM world as we gain a better understanding of the ever-changing role of humans in the complicated path forward
