R&D Tax Credits
For U.S. manufacturers to compete globally they must innovate. That requires experimentation and iteration, and that means manufacturers are conducting qualified research activities. Under OBBB, domestic R&D activities are no longer required to be capitalized, which makes the R&D credit even more important for cash flow. And with the extension of the Texas R&D credit, now is the time to make sure you taking advantage of these credits. We will discuss examples of qualifying activities and how manufacturers can utilize R&D credits.
