Whether you have been a mentor or are currently seeking one, this workshop is for you!

As a part of May Mentoring Month, AWT is pleased to present a unique, hands-on workshop designed to empower women to become more effective and efficient mentors. For mentees, find out what your mentor should be doing for you. You may even learn that you are ready to become a mentor!

This workshop is relevant for all levels of mentors, as Marny will help us to understand our roles and responsibilities as mentors. Topics will include:

  • Understanding our value as mentors
  • Building a successful relationship
  • Setting expectations with mentees
  • Leading an impactful session with a mentee
  • Addressing difficult topics
  • Providing constructive criticism
  • Leveraging our networks to help mentees

Following Marny's program we will have facilitated discussions in small groups, led by "Super Mentors."  This will be an opportunity to address your specific issues and questions, and to draw from our peer's experiences and advice.
