Records Management in the Cloud: A Government Perspective

Speaker:  Carol Brock

Learn about the recently awarded Department of Interior, Office of the CIO, $53 million cloud contract to provide a department-wide eMail, Records, eDiscovery and Document Management System (eERDMS).  This is the largest Federal Sector implementation of its kind.  It was completed in 45 days.

eERDMS is the first Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA) moderate-compliant, software-as-a-service (SaaS) cloud solution that addresses an entire Cabinet Federal Agency.  This solution is believed to be the first enterprise auto classification implementation in the federal marketplace!!  The system will provide the Department with a single cohesive integrated information governance platform designed to support and manage employees' records related to email, content and information, independently, fixed, or mobile.  All web-based software for employees, anywhere, on any departmental device.
